The HMO Manager can provide advice and support to landlords looking to convert residential dwellings into HMO’s. We have worked alongside many landlords, starting from the beginning with architect drawings, to sourcing quotations from third party contractors and managing the project from start through to completion. Ensuring that the finished model is compliant with HMO Regulations and ready to fill with new tenants.

Below are some of the projects that we have worked on recently.

Attoe Walk, Norwich, NR3

Our landlord purchased this as a 6 bedroom property, and we managed the refurbishment, with the installation of a new kitchen including wall and base units, worktop, appliances etc, new bathroom suites, redecoration throughout, new flooring throughout, carpentry to doors and locks and finished off with IKEA furniture ready for professional tenants.

Nicholas Mews, Norwich, NR2

Purchased as a 42 bedroom mews being used for student accommodation, we worked with our landlord and their architect to get plans in place for each individual dwelling, for required works needing to be done structurally by builders, 1st and 2nd fixes with electricians and plumbers. We worked with the landlord and the third party contractors to manage the conversions, with the workforce and budget, ensuring that everything was being done in the required time and at the right price.

Hartbee Road, Norwich, NR6

This property was originally a 5 bedroom detached house, we worked alongside the landlord to convert this into a 7 bedroom HMO, adding in additional bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms and kitchenettes to make the spaces more appealing to the tenants. The refurbishment was finished off to a high standard, ensuring that all the amenity standards were met as set out by the local council for the HMO licence application.
